Thomas B. Reed Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians will meet at 10 a.m. April 2. This group studies Robert’s Rules of Order and determines meeting procedures. It is useful for any group member, leader, club president, or officer.
Westbrook resident Elizabeth Sawtelle will be doing an author presentation on her new book, “Journey From the Heart,” at 5:30 p.m. April 7. This is part of Walker’s “The Author Speaks” Series.
Our Book Circle Discussion Group will meet at noon on April 21. We will discuss a book about rural Maine life, “Contentment Cove,” by Miriam Colwell.
Walker Library Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. This meeting is open to the public. The meeting takes place in Walker’s Gathering Room.
Westbrook publishing house Moon Pie Press authors will be doing a presentation on their newest publication, “Agreeable Friends: contemporary animal poetry” at 5:30 p.m. April 28. Several Westbrook poets will read their poetry. A question and answer period will follow. This is part of Walker’s “The Author Speaks” Series.
