Jewels gone?

A Scott Dyer Road resident on May 20 reported jewelry missing. Police do not know if the jewelry was stolen or misplaced.

Stolen bike

Police met May 20 with a Wells Road resident regarding the theft of a bike. The bike was found the next day.

Dog days

On May 22, police responded to a Spurwink Avenue residence regarding a loose-dog complaint. Police identified and contacted the owner.

Trapped

On May 23, a Fowler Road resident reported the theft of 14 eel traps valued at $35 each.

Gone canoeing

On May 24, police met with a South Portland resident concerning the theft of a canoe at Great Pond. Police have identified a possible suspect.
