The Haskell Silk Mill at 98 Bridge St., as it looked in the 1950s, left photo, was built in 1900 to replace the company’s old wooden mill on Bridge Street at the Presumpscot River. Haskell Silk operated from this building until it went out of business in 1933. Sebago Shoe Co. purchased the building in the early 1960s and occupied it until going out of business several years ago. Then, Flannery Properties purchased and renovated the building and sold it to Westbrook Housing, which in turn converted it to condominium units, right.
