The following American Red Cross blood drives are open to the public:
Thursday
9 a.m. to 2 p.m., York’s Wild Kingdom, York
Noon to 6 p.m., Lions Club, Kittery
2 to 7 p.m., Saint James Hall, Biddeford
Saturday
9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Town Hall, West Newfield
Monday
12:30 to 6 p.m., North Parish Church, Sanford
Aug. 25
1 to 6 p.m., United Methodist Church, Eliot
2 to 7 p.m., Elks Lodge, Brunswick
The Portland Donor Center, 524 Forest Ave., is also open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, noon to 7 p.m.; Fridays, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and the first and third Saturdays of each month, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Platelet donors also are needed.
