PORTLAND — A fire on a deck outside a Portland condominium was contained this afternoon by city firefighters.
Deputy Chief Bob Wassick said the fire was reported at 2:46 p.m. at 124 Winter St. in the city’s West End.
When firefighters arrived they encountered a porch fire, which took several minutes to bring under control.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. A third floor condominium sustained damage to its exterior wall.
