Casten J. Wayne, son of Kye Paradise of Windham, Conn., and Jon Wayne, of Shapleigh, recently enlisted in the Marine Corps under the Delayed Entry Program. Wayne is a 2009 graduate of Windham High School, Willimantic, Conn.

Bryan A. Kelley has received an early promotion to senior airman in the Air Force. Kelley is an airfield systems technician assigned to the 19th Airlift Wing at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., and has served in the military for two years. He is the son of Alan and Tami Kelley of Bridgton, and is a 2006 graduate of Lake Region High School, Naples.

Army National Guard Pvt. William H. Pusey has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Martha Flynn of Kennebunk and William Pusey of Portland. Pusey graduated in 2008 from Cheverus High School, Portland.

Cadet/Chief Master Sergeant Alex Keller of Dayton is the new Cadet Commander of the 58th Composite Squadron of the Maine Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the Air Force. The new First Sergeant is C/TSgt Grace Eaton of Gorham. Keller has been a member of the 58th Squadron since 2007. He graduated from Thornton Academy in Saco in 2009 and attends Southern Maine Community College in South Portland.
