“Color of Community,” a nonprofit group of SMCC students from around the globe speak of war, genocide, loss, confusion and change. 6:30-7:30 p.m., St. Alban’s Parish Hall, 885 Shore Rd., Cape Elizabeth. Their message is forgiveness, love and peace. Come to here these amazing students speak. Ages 12 and older welcome. Donations welcomed.

Mission Mall at the Holly Daze Bazaar, 9 a.m.-noon, at the First Congregational Church/United Church of Christ on Cottage Road in South Portland. An alternative gift fair showcasing several local charities. Shoppers make donations by check or cash to the charities of their choice in honor of loved ones. For each donation, the buyer gets an attractive gift card to present to the recipient. The card includes information about the selected charity and its mission and provides the satisfaction of knowing that the gift is bettering the lives of those in need.
