PORTLAND – The latest winter storm to hit southern Maine has put the Class A and B West basketball championships on hold.
The Maine Principals’ Association has announced that the games scheduled for tonight, Friday, Feb. 25, at the Cumberland County Civic Center have been postponed.
The new schedule is as follows:
Saturday, Feb. 26
- Class B West girls regional final: Leavitt vs. York-2 p.m.
- Class B West boys regional final: Yarmouth vs. Cape Elizabeth-3:45 p.m.
- Class A West girls semifinals: Sanford vs. Deering-7 p.m.
- Class A West girls semifinals: Gorham vs. McAuley-8:30 p.m.
Monday, Feb. 28
- Class A West girls regional final: Sanford/Deering winner vs. Gorham/McAuley winner-6 p.m.
- Class A West boys regional final: Cheverus vs. Bonny Eagle-8 p.m.
