The Westbrook High School athletic department will be holding an open house before the start of the 2011 spring season. The session will be held on March 20 at 4 p.m. at the high school auditorium.
All athletes will be required to attend before they start preseason practices in their spring sports the following week. All parents are encouraged to attend to meet Athletic/Activities Director Todd Sampson and their child’s spring coach.
This event is mandatory for all athletes and varsity coaches. It is recommended for all parents and sub-varsity coaches.
The athletic department staff will be available from 3-5 p.m. to answer any questions regarding various procedures and policies for the spring. This will also give athletes an opportunity to turn in any outstanding paperwork.
The parents and athletes will meet with the varsity coaches at 4 p.m. Coaches will be prepared to share the following information with athletes and parents: practice and game schedules, mandatory forms, deadlines, individual and team goals, objectives, philosophies, sport specific rules and the chain of command for any and all complaints.
