OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Justin Crossley had three hits and knocked in two runs to lead Rochester College to a 9-0 victory over Southern Maine Community College in the first round of the USCAA national baseball tournament at The Ballpark.

Nathan Billings went 2 for 4 with a double, two runs and two RBI for the eighth-seeded Warriors (21-17).

Adam Hamilton and Michael Crowley had the only hits for the ninth-seeded Seawolves (12-21).

ROBERT MORRIS-SPRINGFIELD 10, CMCC 0: Niko Boeker pitched a three-hitter to lead the seventh-seeded Eagles past the 10th-ranked Mustangs in six innings.

Tyler Novy and Corban Govaia each had two hits and two runs scored for Robert Morris-Springfield, which used a seven-run sixth to end the game on the mercy rule.

Justin Cocroft had two hits for CMCC.

BRIARCLIFFE 2, ROBERT MORRIS-SPRINGFIELD 1: Chris McCabe singled home Chris Ahearn with one out in the bottom of the ninth to lift the second-seeded Bulldogs (28-14) over the seventh-ranked Eagles (24-15-1).

APPRENTICE 3, SELMA 0: Ethan Halberg pitched a two-hitter with no walks and five strikeouts to lead the third-ranked Builders (26-14) over the sixth-seeded Bulldogs (17-15).

PENN STATE-GREATER ALLEGHENY 4, SPALDING 3: Adam Wehr hit a three-run triple in the sixth to lead fifth-seeded Penn State-Greater Allegheny (29-11-1) over No. 4 Spalding (28-12).
