Boys’ Indoor Track
Gary helped Mt. Ararat to one of its best finishes at the Class A championships, winning three events — the long jump, 55-meter dash and 200. Gary also plays football and is one of the state’s top sprinters in outdoor track.
NICOLE KIRK
Girls’ Indoor Track
Kirk won the Class A title in the 200 and ran the anchor leg for the victorious 800 relay team as Scarborough secured its seventh consecutive state title. Kirk credited her success and improvement to training with the Scarborough boys’ team and running cross country in the fall to improve her endurance.
