Kathy Murphy scored a hole-in-one at Toddy Brook Golf Course during a Southern Maine Women’s Golf Association tournament July 26. Murphy, who plays at Bath Country Club, used a 9-iron for the 85-yard shot on the sixth hole. Witnesses included Stephanie Babin, Suzanne Waltz and Bonnie Cote.

 

Josh Burns made a hole-in-one during Portland Country Club’s Clambake Tournament. Burns made the 125-yard shot on the fourth hole, using a gap wedge. Dan O’Halloran, Brad Gilbert and Peter Sowles witnessed the shot.

 

Charlie Healy aced the 16th hole at Spring Meadows Golf Club on Thursday. He used a pitching wedge for the 100-yard shot, which was witnessed by Jim Moran, Tom Lloyd and Don Hanson.

Jeff Pierce carded a hole-in-one on the 135-yard 10th hole at Biddeford-Saco Country Club on Friday. He used an 8-iron for the shot, which was witnessed by Dan Egon, Bernie McGlaughlin and Jeff Morse.

 

Dean Sasek got his first career hole-in-one Saturday on the 18th hole at Toddy Brook Golf Course. Sasek used a pitching wedge to make the 125-yard shot, which was witnessed by Jerry St. Clair, Rob Jongerden and Paul Barter.

 

Abby Ross aced the eighth hole at Poland Spring Golf Course on Saturday, using a 5-wood for the 126-yard shot. It was witnessed by her father, Larry Ross, as well as Jill Bernier.
