BUZZ SAWHILL and his wife, Tina, formerly of Woolwich and Topsham but now residing at HillHouse in Bath, recently celebrated their 69 years of marriage. They were married Nov. 13, 1942, in Cambridge, Mass. Shortly after their marriage, Buzz Sawhill entered the U.S. Army as a private. Several years later, he was discharged as a major. He attended Harvard Business School, and they settled in Wellesley, Mass. He worked for several textile companies before retiring and moved to Woolwich in 1985. They raised four children, one of whom now works overseas. “Mrs. Sawhill confessed that love and caring makes for 69 years of a happy marriage,” she told Woolwich resident Diane G.
