TOPSHAM — Cony outscored Mt. Ararat 19-9 in the third quarter en route to a 44- 32 victory in a seventhgrade middle school girls basketball game recently.
Libby Davis and Katie Labbay each had seven points for the Eagles, who were seven of 18 from the foul line.
Hayley Quirion led Cony with 12 points.
Against Lewiston, the Blue Devils held a 7- 4 scoring advantage in overtime in a 58- 55 victory over the Eagles.
Mt. Ararat trailed 11-6 after a quarter, 26-18 at the half and 45-31 through three before rallying, outscoring Lewiston 20- 6 in the fourth quarter for a 51-51 deadlock.
Christine Levesque had three 3- pointers for nine points, the last of her points tying the game with 10 seconds left in regulation. Rebecca Schuman added seven points for Mt. Ararat. The Eagles finished 11 of 21 from the line.
Emily Brochu scored 21 points for Lewiston.
