BATH — The Bath Middle School eighth-grade girls grabbed a 10-5 first-quarter lead and pulled away from there for a 46-33 victory over Tripp on Monday.

The Destroyers held a 27-17 edge at the half and a 40-24 advantage through three quarters.

Isabelle Paulus had 11 points, Olympia Serban nine, and Ali Gagnon and Signe Ostergaard six each for Bath, which improved to 3-2 and visits Mt. Ararat today at 3:30 p.m. The Destroyers were eight of 22 from the line and received solid defensive work from Baylie Cram, Megan Curtis and Amber Heffron.

Chantel Eells paced Tripp with 11 points.
