WENHAM, Mass. — The University of New England women’s basketball team held Gordon College to just 17.3 percent shooting (nine-for-52) and forced 28 turnovers in a 79-27 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) win Thursday evening at the Bennett Athletic Center — the program’s largest margin of victory in 10 seasons.
With its 10th straight triumph over the Fighting Scots, the Nor’easters improved to 16-4 overall, 11-2 in the CCC.
All 10 players in uniform scored for UNE, with Lauren Rousseau leading the way with 15 points and Beth Suggs of Bath adding 14, including 12 in the second half.
