BOWDOINHAM — Local police responded to a crash along Interstate 295 in Bowdoinham on Wednesday morning.
According to Lt. Calvin Temple of the Sagadahoc County Sheriff ’s Department, no one was injured.
The crash was reported at 7:54 a. m. on Interstate 295 northbound near mile marker 43. Darcy Evans, 41, of 42 Ward Circle in Brunswick, was driving a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta north in the passing lane when another vehicle allegedly veered in front of her. Evans lost control, crossed the travel lane and went off the road and into the woods.
The incident report indicated that Evans was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Temple said the car sustained more than $1,000 in damage.
