TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh grade baseball team defeated Oak Hill 17-3 in its season-opening game on Tuesday.
The Eagles received strong pitching from Cam Cox, Jacob O’Neil and Kevin Giroux.
Leading the offense was Ethan Boyco with a three-run double. Cole Guerin, Cox, O’Neil, Jacob Steinman, Kyle Brady, Elliot Bowie, Gunnar Johnson and Kyle Brown had key hits for Mt. Ararat. Guerin turned in a defensive gem at second base.
