LEWISTON — The Brunswick High School jayvee softball team traveled to Lewiston on Tuesday and earned its first win for the season, 21-18.
Rachel Guindon went 3-for- 5, scoring three runs. Justina Spaulding also had a standout day at plate with four hits and five RBIs.
In the field, Spaulding made a clutch catch in center field at the bottom of the sixth. KK Teel started on the mound with four strikeouts, and was followed by Tami Burgess, who closed the game with five strikeouts.
Zoe McCrary, Miranda Dumont and Mary Sasso played well in the field.
