WEST BATH — Sally G. Coffin, 75, of Campbells Pond Road died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

She was born in Woolwich on August 25, 1936, a daughter of Floyd W. and Catherine E. (Hiscock) Goodell, Jr.

On May 15, 1959 she married Carroll Coffin. She helped her husband with many business’ that they owned. She was also employed at Bath Iron Works as a clerk for many years.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing and spending time with family and grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Carroll Coffin Sr. on August 4, 2000 and her son, Gene A. Coffin on November 24, 2008.

She is survived by two sons, Carroll "Wil" Coffin II and Carroll "Billy" Coffin III, both of West Bath, three daughters, Carol Brewer and her husband Bud of Phippsburg, Mary Coffin of Bath and Sarah Easter and her husband Ted of Virginia Beach, VA, four brothers, Harold Goodell, Phillip Goodell, Wayne Goodell and Floyd Goodell, two sisters, Ruth Presby and Florine Small, one daughter in law, Nancy Brown Coffin of Phippsburg, 14 grandchildren, Christopher, Shawn, Abbie, Liz, Alex, Samantha, Jared, Jocelyn, Allen, Victoria, Erica, Brianna, Wyatt and Reese, five great grandchildren, Delanie, Libbi, Erin, Nataleigh and Reed and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath. A gathering of family and friends will follow Phippsburg Sportsman’s Club, 272 Main Road, Phippsburg. Condolences may be made online at www.daiglefuneralhome.com.
