ALBION (AP) — Police say a 52-year-old man was killed and another hurt when a seasonal lakefront home collapsed during repairs in Albion.

Public Safety Department spokesman Steve McCausland says Robert Rodriguez of Augusta was killed Tuesday morning when the camp dropped onto him and another man after they jacked up the structure to install new supports underneath.

McCausland says a fire department’s jaws of life were used to lift the building off the victims. Linwood Stover, 55, who owned the company performing the work, was injured and taken to a hospital.
