GEORGETOWN CENTRAL SCHOOL sixthgraders Brycelin Wilson, left, and MacKenzie Snowdon use a new mobile science lab funded by the Georgetown Education Foundation. The lab is on wheels and, moving from classroom to classroom, gives students access to a self-contained sink, counter space and a variety of scientific tools. Recently, the school’s sixth grade students used the lab to explore changes in the surface of the Earth, studying impacts from the flow of river waters and glacier movement.
