Police Department, Maine Bureau of Highway Safety RIDE (Regional

Impaired Driving Enforcement) Team and the Cumberland County

Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a multi-jurisdictional sobriety

checkpoint within the next week.

With the expectation of increased motorists on Maine’s roadways for

the next several weeks, this is part of an ongoing campaign to keep

impaired drivers off our roadways, according to a press release from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
