PORTLAND — The Maine Public Relations Council will host an event Thursday to share information on accreditation in the public relations process and its benefits.

According to a news release, current accredited PR professionals as well as other MPRC members and board representatives will be present to answer questions and distribute materials.

The session will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Broadreach Public Relations, 19 Commercial St., Portland. It is free to attend.
