TOPSHAM — McTeague Higbee, a Maine law firm specializing in workers’ rights, has recently launched a new blog, “Maine at Work.”

The blog (www.maine-atwork.com) covers diverse topics ranging from historical subjects such as workers’ rights in 1776 and the consequences of the Jay International Paper strike to more current topics, including Apple’s pay strategy and the recent Supreme Court health care decision.

“If you work in Maine, you have rights,” Jeffrey Cohen, managing partner of McTeague Higbee, said in a news release. “With this blog, we are bringing the complicated world of employment law to the average worker in a way that’s interesting, understandable, and at times, even funny. We hope to educate Maine workers about their rights, give them some local perspective on national stories or trends, and make them generally more informed about our nation’s legal system.”

Attorneys from the firm post to the blog on a weekly basis.
