The Cumberland Fairgrounds midway is packed with people on Sunday, Sept. 23, opening day of the Cumberland County Fair.

The skies over Cumberland cleared right on schedule Sunday morning, Sept. 23, for the opening of the 141st annual Cumberland County Fair. The week-long celebration of agriculture and entertainment continues through Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Cumberland Fairgrounds on Blanchard Road, where for the first time this year parking is free.
