PORTLAND (AP) — An intake sergeant at Maine’s Cumberland County Jail has been charged with drunken driving.

Gorham police pulled over 42-year-old Jennifer Slocum on Saturday. Sheriff Kevin Joyce told the Portland Press Herald that she does not drive a vehicle as part of her duties so there’s no immediate impact on her job.

He says there will be an internal investigation once the case is resolved.

A court date has been set for Nov. 14.
