To the Editor:

I write this in support of Fred Horch the Green-Independent candidate for the Maine House in District 66.

I have nothing negative to say about his Democratic and Republican opponents other than they are members of the two political parties that have led us to the horrendous economic and moral basket case that is our present condition. His opponents, if elected, will be part of the back room deals and rigid orthodoxies that demand obedience from their party’s members.

Fred will not be so burdened. He is a free man with the intelligence and moral spine to be a true representative of his constituents, all his constituents.

Fred’s district is across the street from my home. I only wish I could vote for him.
