CAPE ELIZABETH – Voters rejected 3,566-2,696 a plan to borrow up to $6 million to fund a new Thomas Memorial Library.
Cape voters passed a proposed charter amendment 4,157-1,372. On the school board, Mary K. Williams-Hewitt (3,236 votes), John C. Christie III (2,629), and David Hillman (2,245) were re-elected, over William H. Gross III (1,753) and Michael G. Goulding (1,477).
