SOUTH PARIS — The Bath Middle School seventh-grade girls basketball team visited Oxford Hills on Thursday, taking a 32-22 victory.
The Destroyers led 10-8, 18-8 and 26-14 at the quarter breaks.
Marissa Parks and Sierra Wallace had 10 points each for Bath, while Emma Gould had four and Aubrey Martin, Sophie Wilson, Loren Boubel and Katie Tucker two each.
Madeline Mitchell, Mariah Albertson, Macie Gagne, Maddie McDonough and Margaret Keating turned in strong defensive efforts.
In the nightcap, the eighthgrade girls dropped a tough 37-29 decision.
Oxford Hills led 8-2, 19-12 and 32-19 at the quarter breaks before Bath made it interesting in the fourth quarter with a 10-5 scoring advantage.
Amanda Gagne and Noa Sreden both scored eight points for Bath, while Isabel Doran scored five, Ann Tolan four, and Karen Yurek and Samantha Brown had two points each.
