GORHAM — Hyde School’s indoor track program competed in its third meet of the season on Friday at the University of Southern Maine.
The Greely girls won the eight-school meet with 318.50 points, with Hyde (19) eighth, while the Greely boys won with 140 points with Hyde seventh (48).
Scoring for the Hyde girls were Jennifer Morin and Ferina Li, fourth and fifth respectively in the 400 meters, while Xi Wang, Avery Booth and Erica Corley placed second, fourth and sixth respectively in the two-mile.
On the boys’ side, Andrew Davis placed second in the Junior Division 400 with a personal-best 57.01 and placed fourth in the Jr. Division 200. Alexi Philippoussis won the Jr. Division shot put, placed second in the pole vault with a season best 9-0, and placed fourth in the Jr. Division 400. Max Zerrudo-Turgeon placed third in the Jr. Division 55 hurdles with his season-best of 10.14. Jamal Frazer-Borden placed fourth overall in the Sr. Division 200 (25.13).
The highlight of the night was Cody Mitchell shaving another five seconds off his personal record in the mile, taking fourth in 5:06.57.
