BATH — Gardiner held the Morse High School freshman boys basketball team scoreless in the second quarter in a 56-34 victory at Bath Middle School on Tuesday.
The Tigers held a slim 11-9 lead after a quarter, but took a 22-9 advantage to the half and led 35-21 through three quarters.
Juwan Moore and Aidan Brillard led Morse with 15 and 14 points, respectively. The Shipbuilders were eight of 18 at the line.
Brian Dunn picked up a game-high 19 points for Gardiner, which finished 11 of 16 at the free-throw line.
