BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High eighth-grade boys basketball team scored a 50-20 victory over Bath Middle School in season-finale play on Monday.

The Huskies finished the season 10-0.

Eleven different Huskies scored to help the balanced offensive attack. Austin Phillips had a breakout game with nine points, five rebounds and four steals. Jaznel Burns and Caleb Cost combined for 15 points and five rebounds.

Aaron Carlton, Chris Glover and Jackson Gordon were defensive stoppers for the Huskies. Olu Vaughn and Taylor Worthington logged major minutes and combined to score five points, while contributing solid defense.

Brunswick will play in the Mid-Winter Classic during the February school break.
