BRUNSWICK — Brian Carl Bronson, 59, of Brunswick, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 30th, 2013. He was born in North Tonawanda, New York, on May 27, 1953, the son of Frank and Louise (Sullivan) Bronson.

Brian spent his early childhood in New York, moving to Bath and attending Morse High School, Class of 1971. After graduation, he joined the United States Army and proudly served his country for 4 years. Upon returning to the states Brian was employed at Bath Iron Works as a tool keeper for nearly 20 years and than changing his career, worked at Owen’s Corning as a machine operator.

Brian had a love for learning, always researching and studying, to get a better understanding of how things worked. Religion and History were his passion, if you ever wanted to know anything about the wars our country fought, he was the man to ask. Brian was also a sports enthusiast. He loved all sports but especially baseball, being a YANKEES fan. He was a great man with a kind heart and will be sadly missed by all those that loved him.

Brian was predeceased by his parents and a nephew, Michael Lawrence.

He leaves behind his brothers, David Bronson and his wife Kathy, Terry Bronson and his wife Susan; his sisters, Lisa Lawrence, Kerry Nelson and her husband Fred, Mary Bronson, Laura Hutchins and her husband Mark and many nieces and nephews.

The family has requested that if you would like to make a memorial donation in Brian’s name to please send those to: The American Heart Association, 51 US Route 1, Suite M, Scarborough, Maine 04740.

At Brian’s request there will be no services at this time. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath.
