HARPSWELL — Therese “Terry” C. Dudak, age 72, of Bailey Island, Maine formerly of Gilbert, Pa. passed away Sunday, February 9, 2013, at the home of her daughter in Stroudsburg, Pa.

Therese was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on August 17, 1940, the daughter of the late Nelson and Helen (Gilbert) Carbonneau.

She was the wife of the late Frederick John Dudak Jr. who passed away August 27, 2011.

She was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Stroudsburg, Pa.

Therese was had several places of employment over the years including Pocono Raceway, Pocono Hospital, IGA, Altemoses, Jamesway, Pocono Shopper.

She was an original member of the Pleasant Valley High School All Sports Club and was one of the initial participants of the first ever Pleasant Valley Chem Free graduation party.

After “retiring” to Bailey Island, Maine she spent 20 years working at Lands End Gift Shop.

Terry had many interests including Toll painting, reading, beach bumming and spending time with her friend and husband Fred, family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by her children: Frederick John Dudak III and his wife Diane of Stroudsburg, Pa.; Steven Dudak of Brodheadsville, Pa.; Michael Dudak and his wife Maribeth of Albrightsville, Pa.; Ronald Dudak of Kunkletown, Pa.; and Linda Roselli and her fiancé Greg Ehrhardt of Stroudsburg. She was the loving and gentle Nanny to 7 Grandchildren: Ann Marie Cole and her husband Chris; Kristin Ehrhardt, Jennifer Roselli, Courtney Dudak, Matthew Ehrhardt, Frederick John Dudak IV, Jonathan Dudak, Zachary Dudak and Timothy Dudak; 2 great grandchildren: Liam Cole and Harper Roselli. She is also survived by a sister: Karen Spignese and her husband Frank of Malden, Massachusetts; 2 brothers: Frank Carbonneau and his wife Donna of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and David Carbonneau of Nashville, Tennessee. Sisters in law Sandy Hasson of Dunellen, NJ, Lillian Barnes of South Plainfied, NJ, BethAnn Carbonneau of Mobile, Alabama, Brother in law Stanley (Butch) Bolesta and wife Doreen of South Plainfield, NJ and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three siblings: Larry, Nelson and Mary Lou.

Funeral services will begin 4:30 pm, Friday, February 15th at the Donald N. Gower Funeral Home, Route 209, Gilbert, Pa.

Family and friends are welcome to offer their condolences on Friday, February 15th from 2 pm until 4:30 pm at the funeral home.
