Army Pvt. Tyler M. Adams has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Scott Adams and Joann Towne of Scarborough and is a 2012 graduate of Scarborough High School.

Army Pfc. Jonathan M. Brown has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Linda Brown of Scarborough and graduated in 2003 from Scarborough High School.

Navy Seaman Matthew R. Libby, son of Kimberly and John Libby of Freeport, recently completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Libby is a 2008 graduate of Cheverus High School, Portland.
