BATH — Harriett Lewis, 97, of High Street in Bath, passed away on Friday, April 12th, 2013. She was born in Bath on January 5, 1916 the daughter of Robert and Dora (Felt) Small. Harriett grew up in Bath and graduated from Morse High School.

Harriett married her soul mate, Orrington H. Lewis and the couple resided in Bath to raise their family. They lived at 189 High Street, a family owned residence since the 1850’s. Harriett was a homemaker, who would do anything for her family; they were the most important thing to her.

She had a passion for making things with her own hands; mealtimes with her family were always a special occasion as she loved to cook. She loved to knit, sew and crochet; there wasn’t a time that can be remembered that she wasn’t making something. She will be missed by all those that loved her.

Harriett was predeceased by the love of her life Orrington, her son Donald Lewis and daughter Dianne Cahill.

She leaves behind her granddaughter, her caregiver and best friend Elaine “Lanie” Bradley, her daughter, Kathleen Inman and her husband Joe; her great grandson and caregiver, Jahmaal Bradley and her two dogs “Jadzia” and “Turbo,” and a daughter-in-law Vivian Lewis. Harriett also leaves behind 6 other grandchildren, Donna, Linda, Jody, David, Eric and Marlene; and 8 other great grandchildren.

Services will be private.
