BANGOR — Laurie Ann Sheldon, 40, of Bangor, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 9, 2013. Laurie was born in Bath, the daughter of John and Kaythryn Sheldon. She was raised in Bath and attended Bath area schools.
Laurie was known for her huge heart and love for others. She enjoyed being a homemaker and creating unique pieces of jewelry in her spare time. Laurie had a great love for animals of all kinds and was very spiritual. Among other things, arts and crafts of all sorts were a particular passion of hers.
She was predeceased by her mother, Kaythryn Sheldon; as well as a very special set of grandparents, Wallace and Mary Sheldon.
Surviving are a son, Wesley Nieves; her father, John Sheldon; a sister, Debbie Sheldon; a grandmother, Ruth Kline; a grandfather Herbert Geroux; an Uncle, William Sheldon; and a dear cousin, Melanie Tibbets.
The family will be having a graveside memorial later this June at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Woolwich.
