BATH — The Hyde School track program hosted the New England NEPSTA Division III Track and Field Championships on Saturday.
The boys placed ninth out of 21 teams, and the girls were fourth out of 20 teams.
Katie Comeaux of Hyde was named the Girl’s MVP of the Meet.
Canterbury School won the girls meet with 80 points, followed by Kingswood-Oxford School (68), St. George’s (61) and Hyde (58).
Roxbury Latin won the boys event with 137 points, while Hyde picked up 13.
Comeaux took home gold medals in both the javelin and shot-put (both personal records) and took the silver medal in the discus. Teammate Madi Preece took gold medals in both the 100-meter hurdles and the 300 hurdles, with a PR in the 300 hurdles. Preece also finished 12th out of 22 runners in the 200.
Eve Amato took second in the shot put with a PR. Freshman Diamond Brown took fifth in the discus.
The boys’ meet was competitive, with three all-time meet records falling.
Scoring for Hyde were Talin Rowe (third, pole vault), Warsame Mohamed (fourth, high jump) and freshman Tavis Duvall (fourth, discus).
