BRUNSWICK — John D. Pye Jr., 34, of Brunswick, Maine, died unexpectedly on or about May 23, 2013, in Brunswick, Maine. John was born January 15, 1979 in Brunswick, Maine. John attended school in Presque Isle, Maine, Bowdoin, Maine and Topsham, Maine.
John is survived by his parents, John and Debbie Blackwell of Naples, Florida; two sons, Damien Michael Pye (13) and Jeremiah Maurice Pye (9) of New Gloucester, Maine; sisters, Angela Ison of Bonita Springs, Florida, Jennifer Peavey of Woolwich, Maine and Nancy Barclay of Largo, Florida; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and a nephew. John is also survived by his significant other, Susan Pye, of Brunswick, Maine.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal Street, Brunswick, Maine. There will be no service and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Damien and Jeremiah’s grandmother, Kelly Morrison, 29 Windmill Lane, New Gloucester, Maine 04260 to assist her in raising John’s boys.
