
She was employed at Regional Memorial Hospital in Brunswick and also worked as an ophthalmic assistant to Dr. Gerry Hayes in Brunswick for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church of Brunswick and had served on the Parish Council. Patricia was an avid bridge player and was a longtime member of the Brunswick Golf Club. She enjoyed knitting and painting folk art.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Paul N. Mac- Donald of Topsham; a son John A. and his wife MaryAnn MacDonald of Brunswick; a daughter Karen S. Clarke and her longtime companion Dana W. Helms of Jefferson, ME; three grandchildren, Nicholas MacDonald of Newton, MA, Marina and her husband Kyle Turmelle of New Gloucester, ME and Michael A. Clarke of Jefferson.
Visiting hours will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal Street, Brunswick. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, June 7, 2013 in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen Street, Brunswick. Private interment will be held at a later date.
