TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School eighthgrade baseball team played its final game of the season on Monday in a 10-0 win over Bath, finishing 9-0.
The Eagles’ bats were alive and well in this competition with 14 hits. Cole Guerin, Jacob O’Neill, Jacob Steinman, Elliot Bowie, Eagan Eldridge and Jacob Laurence all had hits.
Cameron Cox and Haven Cutko each came through with a single and a triple.
Defensively, Gage Palmer, Cutko, and Mike Truden each made strong catches in the outfield and Ethan Boyko, Kyle Brady and Kevin Giroux all made standout plays in the infield.
Cox and Bowie pitched well as the Eagles.
