WINDHAM (AP) — An Indiana man who was allegedly drunk when he led Maine police on a high-speed chase that ended when he crashed his minivan into the rear of another vehicle is headed to court.
Jeremy Moon of Fortville, Ind., is expected to make his first court appearance today on charges including driving to endanger and operating under the influence.
Moon was arrested Saturday night after a chase that started in Raymond and ended a few miles away in Windham.
Police say they tried to pull over the 33-year-old Moon, but he took off and eventually crashed into an SUV, injuring two girls inside, ages 12 and 14. The girls were taken to a hospital.
Moon was held over the weekend.
