PORTLAND (AP) — A deli owner who’s had to endure abortion protests targeting a nearby Planned Parenthood clinic has closed his restaurant.

Mike Fink, owner of Mike’s Restaurant, blamed the protesters for driving off diners, as well as making it virtually impossible to sell the business. He told the Portland Press Herald that he had potential buyers but “nobody wanted to open a restaurant where people hold signs of dead babies out front.”

The city is considering a buffer zone between protesters and Planned Parenthood. The deli has had other problems as well. It was found to be operating with an expired license in May.
