LISBON FALLS — Four players scored twice for Lisbon High School as the Greyhounds defeated Boothbay 10- 0 in Mountain Valley Conference field hockey action Friday.
Olivia Harrington, Arianna Kahler, Hannah Jordan and Sarah Craig notched two goals each for the Greyhounds (5-0-1, scheduled to host Hall-Dale today).
Lisbon’s Molly Nicholson, Jordan, Kahler and Michaela Bidell had an assist each. Cassie Pace and Charlotte Mooney added in a goal each for the ’Hounds, while Stevie Charest made two saves for the shutout in net.

CAPE ELIZABETH 2
After very equal play through the first part of the half in Western Maine Conference field hockey action on Thursday, Cape got on the board with a goal by Taylor Herrera at 19:31.
With eight minutes left in the half Cape’s Kelsey Allen ran onto a long ball that was sent into the circle. It rebounded off goalkeeper Morgan Karnes and Allen got the rebound.
“We held them scoreless in the second half,” said Freeport coach Marcia Wood. “I’m very happy with my team’s play; Cape is a talented aggressive team and to play them to only two goals is great. We had our chances, just couldn’t capitalize on them.”
Karnes had 12 saves for Freeport, now 2-4 and scheduled to visit Falmouth tonight (7 p.m.).
Girls soccer
LISBON FALLS — Jenna Clifford fired one into the back of the net off a crossbar rebound from teammate Renae Samay-Houle with 26 minutes left the second half, as Lisbon High School topped Dirigo 1-0 in Mountain Valley Conference action Saturday.
Freshman Alexandra Sult made 14 saves on 17 shots for the Greyhounds (3-2, scheduled to host Mt. Abram on Wednesday).
Dirigo led in shots 16-11 and both teams had four corner kicks.
Mariah Lafleur turned back six shots in net for the Cougars (2-2).

In Western Maine Conference action on Saturday, Ashley Richardson scored in the first half and Brooke Heathco and Alyssa Richardson added second-half scores as the Falcons improved to 4-2.
Goaltender Livvy Dimick stopped six shots for the Falcons, who are scheduled to host Greely on Tuesday.
For the 1-3 Raiders, Sydney Charles had eight saves.
