BATH — Mary Louise Fullerton, 84, of Bath, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Winship Green Nursing Home, Bath. She was born in Massachusetts on November 18, 1928, to Roland and Mary Beaton Haining.

She attended schools in Brunswick and Bath. On July 16, 1949, she married Cecil L. Fullerton and the couple resided in Brunswick and later moved to Bath until the time of his death in 1994. She continued to live in Bath until the time of her death.

She worked for a brief time at W.T. Grants before becoming a stay-at-home mother.

Louise, as she was known for years to her friends and family, had a passion for antiques and decorating. She became a local antique dealer and enjoyed shopping for antiques across Maine. A highlight for her was her yearly trip to Brimfield, Massachusetts. She also was an avid animal lover. She always had a few pets and fed many stray that came her way. She also enjoyed shopping and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Cecil of 45 years; brothers, Phil and Roland Haining of Brunswick.

She is survived by her son, Peter and his wife Jean, of Bath, grandson Tim and his companion Lisa, of Washington, D.C. and a grandson, Ryan and his wife Pam, of Lake Hopatcong, N.J. She also has a sister-in-law, two nieces and a nephew.

Visiting hours will be held 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High St., Bath. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2013, at the funeral home, followed by interment at Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to a gathering after the services at the home of her son.
