The Shipbuilders dropped to 2-2 and are scheduled to visit 0-4 Gorham on Friday,

Scott Petersen had a 22-yard TD reception on a screen pass and Casey Watson a 54-yard pass from Trenton Moore on the halfback option pass, down to the F-8. Moore scored three plays later to give Morse a 21-14 lead with three minutes to go.
Fryeburg came right back, scoring with 47 seconds to go, then went ahead on the 2-point conversion play with a QB keeper.
“We just didn’t get off the bus,” said Morse coach Jason Darling. “All the credit in the world to Fryeburg, they played hard and executed when they had to. They outmatched us emotionally and physically. You’re not going to win a lot of games if you don’t play inspired football. I take full responsibility … I didn’t get my team ready to play today.”
