BRUNSWICK — Senate President Justin Alfond Wednesday named state Sen. Stan Gerzofsky, DBrunswick, to two National Conference of State Legislature’s standing committees, Law and Criminal Justice and Legislative Effectiveness.
The committee on Legislative Effectiveness deals with issues of practice and procedure, while Law and Criminal
Justice considers a range of issues, from the role of federalism to civil rights to immigration.
Gerzofsky is in his third term representing Freeport, Brunswick, Harpswell and Pownal.
