I am writing this letter to endorse Veronica Bates for the at-large position of the Westbrook City Council.
I have known Veronica for the past six years through Girl Scouts. She started and led three troops over those years working to instill values such as honesty, integrity and responsibility in girls. During this time I have witnessed Veronica take on more responsibilities in the Girl Scouts by being active in the Nonesuch Service Unit and at a statewide level.
Veronica has also been working to resolve issues in Westbrook schools while serving on the Westbrook School Committee. She is known to listen to all sides of an issue before taking action.
I respect her common-sense approach to problem solving. She is an asset to any organization because she is practical, honest and hardworking. Please consider supporting Veronica Bates if this kind of leader you want on the Westbrook City Council.
