BATH — State Sen. Eloise Vitelli, D-Arrowsic, will host a community forum 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24 at Bath City Hall.
The focus of the forum will be legislative priorities and bills set for the second session of the 126th Legislature.
“Maine faces a number of challenges but I am happy to note that the Legislature stepped up to the challenge last session,” Vitelli said. “I fully intend to hit the ground running in January so that I can help build on that good work.”
Thursday’s forum will be co-facilitated by Senate Majority Leader Troy Jackson and Assistant Senate Majority Leader Anne Haskell, both Democrats.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
